Everything you need to know about the paperwork for donating your car in NH.
When donating a vehicle in New Hampshire, you must sign the title over to WheelWise. This step is crucial as it officially transfers ownership and prevents future liability. Notarization is not required for the title transfer in New Hampshire, but it is recommended to avoid disputes. After the vehicle is picked up, WheelWise will notify the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles of the donation.
If you’ve lost your title, contact the New Hampshire DMV for a replacement title before initiating the donation. Additionally, if the vehicle has a lien, ensure that you either have a release from the lien holder or pay off the lien before proceeding with the donation process.
